Apart from Pink Iceland, Eva Maria is actively involved in other ethical businesses, contributing her expertise on hospitality, sustainability, and ethical practices at various forums, including international conferences and university lectures on Environmental Sciences, Marketing, and Innovation. She mentors aspiring entrepreneurs, reflecting her commitment to fostering innovation and responsible business practices. Eva Maria holds positions on the boards of The Icelandic Travel Industry Association, The Iceland Chamber of Commerce, and Promote Iceland, reflecting the respect and trust she has earned from her peers. A champion for the LGBTQ+ community, she made history as the first woman to chair The Reykjavik Pride Festival, a major event drawing up to 100,000 attendees.
