

After earning a degree in advertising photography from the then called Medway College 1991 (now called University of the Arts), John pursued a career in advertising and editorial photography.
Working closely with the British Council, John curated exhibitions on identity, exhibiting his work in the UK and around the world. His work has been seen in prestigious galleries such as the Pantheon Gallery, Cyprus, The Town House Gallery, Egypt, and the National Portrait Gallery, London. In addition to exhibiting worldwide, John has also competed for a number of well-known accolades. In fact, John has been a finalist of the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize in 2000, 2006 and 2013, where his work was selected for the final exhibition in the National Portrait Gallery.
John’s wedding photography career has seen him win countless awards, and he works very closely with luxury planners, brands and a number of luxury venues and hotels in London. In 2014, John pioneered a groundbreaking 360° multi-media wedding interactive photography service which launched at the Brides the Show. In 2016, Nassari was listed as one of the 13 best wedding photographers in London by the Evening Standard. He has published Brides Magazine, Grace Ormonde, HELLO Magazine, and You and Your Wedding.
