Founder President of KM EVENTS since 1995. KM Events is one of the leading destination luxurious event and wedding companies in Turkey, and celebrating its 26th anniversary in the event and wedding industry in 2021. She is also the CEO of KM Beyond Luxury, a destination management company. She is exporting home linen designs with her brand KM Home Collection to all parts of the world.

As an international destination luxury event and wedding planner and founder of KM, Meltem Tepeler not only works in Turkey and UAE but also organises exclusive events and weddings in the region, like Azerbaijan, Greece, Europe, and other neighbouring countries. She has hosted many VIP guests at the events and weddings she designed and planned, such as USA President George Bush, Prime Minister of Italy Berlusconi, Prime Minister of the UK Tony Blair, Prime Minister of Germany Schröder, President of Azerbaijan, Aliyev, President of France Jacque Chirac and Pope Benedict XVI.

She was the Founder and President of YEPUD (The Association for Planning and Implementation of Creative Events, Turkey), the only association in the event industry in Turkey from 2007 to 2014. She has also been the founder and president of TUED (Turkish Association of International Events) since January 2020. She has been a member of the Board of Governors of ILEA ( International Live Events Association) since 2022. She has published her book, ‘Weddings and Istanbul’, describing Ä°stanbul as a wedding destination, which soon became one of the industry’s classics in 2010.
The second edition of the book is published in 2011. Meltem Bayazıt Tepeler is one of the founders and lecturers of the Event Management Certificate Program at Bosphorus University Life Long Learning Center (BUYEM). Since 2006, Meltem Bayazıt Tepeler has been a jury member of many global event competitions, such as the European Best Event Awards (EuBEA) and WOW Awards. Meltem Tepeler is also a conference speaker at wedding conferences such as ENGAGE, RSVP, DWP and EWPC. Meltem Tepeler is the founder and organizer of the ‘Table Design Exhibition’, one of the most influential events and exhibitions of the Global Wedding Industry since 2022.
