Sarah and Chelsea are the dynamic duo behind Brilliant Event Planning, a luxury wedding and event planning company with offices in both NYC and Boston. Founded in 2008, the Brilliant Event Planning team produces weddings and events both in New England and around the world, specializing in tented affairs at private estates, as well as raw spaces. They pride themselves on creating not only beautiful events, but an immersive guest experience that’s deeply personal and reflects the love story of each of their couples.
Neither Sarah or Chelsea planned to be in the event industry. Sarah was on the med-school track, but quickly realized her heart wasn’t in it. After graduating from McGill University, she took an internship with Brilliant Event Planning, which quickly turned into a job. Two years later, after graduating from Boston College, Chelsea was in her first year of law school when she began to have doubts about it being the right fit for her, so she began an internship at Brilliant Event Planning. Chelsea and Sarah now co-own the company they used to intern at and the rest, as they say, is history!
