SOPHIE KOBOULOFF

TRES CHIC AGENCY

PRESIDENT, EVENT PLANNER

FRANCE

Untitled-6-01_edited.jpg

Sophie has studied business, marketing and leadership at the highest levels in France and the U.S. She graduated with a Master in Management from EDHEC, one of France’s leading business schools, before getting her Master of Business Administration in the USA followed by a Doctorate in Health Administration and Leadership from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 2001. She spent 14 years in Russia, working first at her own company in advertising, and imports/exports of French couture fashion and luxury lingerie. She then joined Moscow's leading international medical clinic and made a career there as PR and event manager among other positions. She moved back to France in 2005, devoting eight years to charity work with Russian orphans, resulting in the adoption of 134 orphans, while developing her own boutique event agency servicing a very private and restricted Russian clientele. In 2022, Sophie rallied a group of passionate people around her project to leverage their common experience in a view to create bespoke events for a demanding and discerning French and international clientele. They created Très Chic-THE AGENCY based in Cannes, French Riviera, a deluxe family and corporate events company. The company also specializes in designing unique luxury experiences for customers who wish to live something different with that extra touch of magic.

Sophie attributes her success to her passion for work and listening to individuals’ needs. People are at the heart of her work ethics and constitute the main frame of her thinking and decision-making. She is also aware of the influence of culture upon her customers, which has been a great asset while working internationally. Sophie has been exposed to an international environment most of her life, and a typical workday for her is spent talking English, Russian and French.
