Arriving in Venice to the JW Marriott

If you are arriving at Marco Polo airport, you can choose a private water taxi direct to the hotel, which can be booked from any booth in the arrivals hall (c€170) for up to ten people. Or go to the Alilaguna booth immediately left in the hall. Buy a ticket on the blue boat (c€30) to San Marco Giardinetta. Then, go on the up escalators (signs for the water) and follow the never-ending elevated escalator walkway to the lagoon. There you will meet your taxi or the blue line boat. The blue line boat will drop you off at San Marco in front of the gardens. There you will find the boat stands and all the luxury hotels. Find the JW Marriott and wait for the next boat. They are every 30 mins for an hour and a half hour. If you are taking the public boat option, please allow 2 hours to get to the hotel from the airport.

If you arrive at the train station, get a water taxi directly to JW Marriott or get boat 1 (all stops) or 2 (express) going from right to left in front of the station. Disembark at San Marco and follow the instructions above to the hotel on their boat.

If you arrive at Venice Treviso airport, take the bus or taxi car to Palazzo Roma, where you can get the 1 or 2 boats detailed above and then the JW Marriott boat at San Marco.

Please keep in mind that Venice tends to be on the cooler side this time of year, so we suggest packing warm clothing and thick jackets.
