During the month of October transfers between Split and the island of Hvar are more limited than in the high season. There are a number of pre-arranged and ad-hoc options for travel, which we recommend looking into before hopping on the plane.

There are multiple options to take you from the airport to Split's port.
Ubers and Bolts operate in Split, alongside local taxi ranks. Prices may vary depending on demand, and journey time will depend on traffic.
The airport shuttle, Platanus, runs roughly 30 minutes after every flight throughout the day to the port in Split.

TP Line ferries run throughout the daytimes from Split port to Hvar.
During October the timings are reduced, with the final ferry departing Split at 4pm. It is also important to note that there is a maximum luggage allowance of 20kg per person, with no option to purchase more.
